Ranita graduated from the University of Manchester in 2015 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in August 2017. She is currently an associate in the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group and her primary areas of practice are civil and commercial litigation.

As a Practice Trainee, Ranita assisted in the case of Hii Chii Kok v Ooi Peng Jin London Lucien and another [2017] SGCA 38, which was a case of public interest highlighting issues of communication between doctor and patient, and which has helped to develop the law on medical negligence in a manner that places more emphasis on patient autonomy and informed consent.
